Final Major Project evaluation 

I feel overall the project went well, I stayed on track with where I was expecting to be from the beginning of the project. I think I have made great progression through the project and developed the technique and style I was aiming to succeed in.
I think I showed cleared development through the project with improving and coping when things don't go to plan or when a shoot isn't as unsuccessful as some of the other shoots. 
I am pleased with my final images and I think then are a clear representation of the aim of this project and managed to improve my photography and idea portraying the style of my researched photographers.

I also managed to stay on target of my project schedule meaning that I didn't fall behind with the work to restrict the number of shoots I got through, being able to edit them and evaluated them fully to say what went successful and what didn't. So that I can develop and improve my photography.

REFLECTION -weekly timetable

Week 1 - This week I did general research and mood board making for ideas for my final major project. I did some planning for my first shoot which I will use as a test shoot so that I can refine the idea for the second shoot.  Week 2 - This week I editing of first shoot and second but refined shoot I made contact sheets and edits. I began to reflect and what I have done. So far I am on task with my project schedule Week 3 -  I then evaluated and annotated both shoots on what I did to the images, what I like and dislike about them and how they like to the work of Thomas Joshua Coopers work. I then moved on to planning another shoot and researched into the work of Michael Kenna. PRIMARY RESEARCH - Third shoot

For my third shoot I used a DSLR and a neutral density filter. I tried to capture the movement of the sea and the sun as it sets. This shoot didn't work how I planned it and my photos were unsuccessful. I think they were unsuccessful because the sea was very calm meaning there was very little movement in the water. The effect that I was trying to create was unsuccessful. I also think it didn't work because the tide was very low and going out, as well as the sun setting.  The main problem was that it was too bright because the sun was beginning to set this meant that the camera had to block out more light which it struggled with. All these things played their part together into not creating the effect that Thomas Joshua Cooper, Michael Kenna and Michael Levin use in their photography.
